Death / FuneralsThe ancient Greek people did not like to explain what happens when you die. Most of the ancient Greek people believed that everybody had a spirit, which lived inside you after you died. The Greek people thought that this spirit was rather like a ghost looking like the person but a sort of transparent. They also thought that you had to do a ceremony when somebody died, so that the dead person could let their spirit go to the land of the dead. But if you do not do this ceremonies then the dead persons spirit will continue to hang around in the land of the lived, haunting you. The most important key to do when someone dies is to bury the dead body.
